We are available for barn dances and general social events at very reasonable charges.

 We began life around 1995 and retain he informality, inclusiveness and cooperative nature from our original group.  We are based at the Leicester Secular Society, and we meet regularly.  We are made up of players of a range of ages and abilities and work as an informal non-profit making group.

Please pass on to all Greenshoots members my heartfelt thanks for a great gig on June 11th. The band sounded really good and I had the time of my life. A special thank you to Christine for making the dances appropriate to the venue the age range of the group and most importantly, great fun.

I have had lots of positive feedback from other guests and here is one from my sister:
Thanks for a great evening yesterday! The band were superb and the dances really different - I thought the caller was the best I have come across!

Good luck for the future and I will certainly be recommending you to others.

Hi Greenshoots!

 Thank you very much for your concert at the Western Pub on June 5th which raised £115 for WaterAid. The grand total is over £4,600 now and money is still coming in.  ...

Just a quick note to thank you all so much for the 'do' on Saturday.  I'm sorry I didn't get a chance then to say how much we enjoyed it.
It was a very successful evening and we would not hesitate to recommend you all.
